This is a pilot-to-open check valve. When pressure at port 2 exceeds the spring bias pressure, the poppet is pushed from its seat and allowed from port 2 to port 1. When sufficient pilot pressure is present at port 3, the pilot piston operates to push the poppet, flow is allowed from port 1 to port 2. Pilot pressure needed at port 3 to open the valve is directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1. Pressure at port 2 affects pilot-to-open pressure on a 1:1 ratio.Hardening processes and precision machining for long life and low leakage.
