Fully Balanced load control valves have check and fixed throttle characteristic. When load pressure at port 2 rises over the check cracking pressure, check valve will allow free flow from port 2 to port 1. Meantime, the pilot activates fixed throttle component to allow the flow from port 1 to port 2 and the flow rate is controlled by pilot pressure at port 3.

  • This valve has no relief function, including thermal expansion relief.
  • The valve automatically compensates for load pressures, ensuring self-balancing. Flow is controlled via pilot pressure, with port 1 designated for the load and port 2 for the tank, thanks to the presence of dynamic seals that optimize performance.
  • Pilot pressure at port 3 against with backpressure at port 2.
  • While this valve can be used to replace a counterbalance valve, it may not be suitable for cross-piloted cylinder applications. For optimal machine stability, a low pilot ratio is required, and a balanced load control typically has an extremely high pilot ratio.
  • If individual pilot resource is applied, it could smoothly apply pressure to control loading stability.
