This is a pilot-operated, poppet type, 2-way 2-position, normally closed solenoid valve that uses a poppet mechanism to control fluid flow. It is designed for high flow capacity and is commonly used in applications requiring large flow rates. When de-energized, the valve functions like a check valve, allowing free flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. When energized, flow is allowed from port 2 to port 1, but restricted from port 1 to port 2.
