Load reactive, load control valves have check and fixed throttle characteristic. When load pressure at port 2 rises over the check cracking pressure, check valve will allow free flow from port 2 to port 1. Meantime, the pilot activates fixed throttle component to allow the flow from port 1 to port 2 and the flow rate is controlled by pilot pressure at port 3.

  • Setting should be 1.3 times maximum load induced pressure.
  • Reduce valve setting and release load by turning screw clockwise.
  • The pressure setting will increase when back pressure at port 2. PS=(PR+1)xBP;PS=Pressure Setting, PR=Pilot Ratio, BP=Back Pressure
