This is a direct-acting, guided poppet relief valve intended for use as a pressure-limiting device to protect hydraulic systems from pressure transients. The valve blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to overcome the valve setting, it lifts the poppet and opens the flow path from port 1 to port 2. It offers quick response to load changes in hydraulic circuits requiring low internal leakage.

- The maximum leakage is approximately 5 drops/min to 85% of nominal setting.
- This structure provides stability when relieving. If used in low-pressure applications, please ensure the flow capacity is less than 70 LPM (refer to the performance curve).
- Excellent stability throughout flow range with fast response to dynamic pressure changes.
- Back pressure at port 2 (tank port) is added directly to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio.
- Working parts are heat-treated and high-precision ground to increase hardness for long life.
