This is a direct-operated, poppet type, fully adjustable needle flow control valve with reverse flow check and sharp-edge orifice. Output flow can be varied from closed to the maximum orifice diameter. Flow is non-pressure-compensated. Free flow is allowed from port 2 to port 1, regardless of valve adjustment, by when pressure overcomes the spring bias of the valve check function.
