This is a direct-acting, spool-type, 3-way 2-position, internal drain directional valve. It allows flow between port 2 and port 1 with a spring-biased spool. The spool will shift when a pressure differential between port 1 and port 3 overcomes the spring bias, allowing flow between port 3 and port 2, while port 1 is blocked.
- Pressure at port 3 is directly added to the valve setting, so we do not recommend using port 3 as the work port. If necessary, please consider the model DD-*-4Q-Y-Z.
- Spool valves will have normal leakage due to spool clearance.
- Working parts are heat-treated and high-precision ground to increase hardness for long life.
