This is a direct-operated, spool-type, pressure-compensated flow control valve. This valve maintains a constant flow from port 1 to port 2 based on the setting adjustment, regardless of load pressure changes, the regulated flow increases with clockwise rotation of the adjusting screw. Reverse flow from port 2 to port 1 is limited by the diameter of the selected control orifice and is not pressure-compensated.
