This is a direct-operated, spool type, fixed orifice, pressure-compensated flow control valve. Regardless of load pressure changes, the valve maintains a constant flow from port 1 to port 2. Reverse flow from port 2 to port 1 is limited by the diameter of the selected control orifice and is not pressure-compensated.
