This is a direct-acting, poppet-type, bi-directional normally closed relief valve intended for use as a pressure-limiting device to protect hydraulic systems from pressure transients. When the pressure differential between port 1 and port 2 exceeds the valve setting, throttling flow will be allowed bi-directionally to restrict the pressure rise. This valve provides fast response, rugged and dirt-tolerant operation, and good pressure vs. flow characteristics.

  • This valve functions as a bi-directional relief, making it suitable for brake circuits in hydraulic pumps.
  • Internal modulation occurs within the cartridge, making these valves highly resistant to common cavitation issues such as noise and manifold erosion.
  • The maximum leakage is approximately 0.7 cc/min.
  • Excellent stability throughout flow range with fast response to dynamic pressure changes
  • Working parts are heat-treated and high-precision ground to increase hardness for long life and essentially zero leakage.
