This is a direct-acting, guided poppet, fixed setting relief valve intended for use as a pressure-limiting device to protect hydraulic systems from pressure transients. The valve blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to overcome the predetermined setting, it lifts the poppet and opens the flow path from port 1 to port 2. It offers quick response to load changes in hydraulic circuits requiring low internal leakage.
- The maximum leakage is approximately 5 drops/min to 85% of nominal setting.
- Back pressure at port 2 (tank port) is added directly to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio.
