This is a pilot-operated, balanced poppet, ventable relief valve with an integral 8A-2 or 08W-2 pilot control cavity for use with any 8A-2 or 08W-2 pressure control cartridge valve. When the pressure at port 1 overcomes the pilot control setting, it pilots open port 2 and allows throttling flow to regulate the pressure. The pressure differential between port 1 and port 2 is based on the settings of the pilot control. Changes in pressure at port 2 do not affect the pressure setting, making it suitable for sequential applications. This valve with 8A2 cavity is commonly paired with Winner proportional relief valves, such as the PRB8A or PRA8A.
- The maximum leakage is approximately 0.7 cc/min.

- This valve features a balanced poppet design to reduce cavitation and manifold erosion during high pressure drop applications.
