This valve is an atmospherically pilot-to-open check valve. It allows free flow from port 2 to port 1 while blocking flow from port 1 to port 2. Pressure applied to the pilot port (port 3) will allow flow from port 1 to port 2, which is directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1. Due to the spring chamber being referenced out the back of the hex body, this valve is insensitive to pressure at port 2.

  • This valve can prevent the drifting of loads and securely locks pressurized loads, also provides protection to a pipe rupture or hose break.
  • Internal components are made of highquality materials, processed heat treatment and precision grinding to achieve excellent wear resistance and protection against contamination for long-lasting durability.
  • Virtually leak-free. If the valve causes the load to drift, the seat may be damaged by contamination. Please replace the valve immediately.
  • Pilot-to-open check valves are not intended to be used as motion control valves. If motion control is required in a circuit, please choose counterbalance valves.
  • Industry common cavity.
  • Available bias springs for back pressure applications flexibility.
  • Consider using a check valve instead of a counterbalance valve if overrunning loads or controlled release speed are not critical in the application.
  • This valve is designed to have the same cavity as CO standard valves. Port 3 is pilot port and Port 1 is a locking load pressure port that acts as a solution when the back pressure at port 2 is too high to be operated by the CO valve. Recommendation: If there are high back pressure at port 2 requirements, please choose CW valves with a vented function to avoid low leakage from the pilot area to the vented spring chamber (approximately one drop every 4,000 cycles).
  • Atmospherically referenced pilot-to-open check valves must concern the oil penetrate spring chamber when use in existing circuit, thus recommend to use four-port vented check valves instead for new application.
  • This valve is suitable for mounting in regenerative circuits or for controlling motors or cylinders.
  • External components are WINNERcoat® Zinc-Nickel Plating for 1000 hours salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227. Also, some ordering code with letter "P" at the end is stainless steel external components. The ordering code with letter "S" at the end is all components of cartridge valve are made of stainless steel for special requirements such as deep sea, marine or water based hydraulic.
  • Winner guarantees that all products performance a 100% functional test before shipment.
